The department of chemistry has taken major initiatives and played an active role in the setting up of advanced instrumentation facility for the Department as well as the Institute at Centre for Advanced Scientific Equipment. Some of the research facilities include a Differential Scanning Calorimeter, Simultaneous Thermal Analyser, Powder X-ray diffractometer, Single crystal X-ray diffractometer, Atomic Force Microscope (Park XE-70), Scanning Electron Microscope with Electron Dispersion Spectrometer, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometer (500 MHz), UV-vis spectrometers, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Fluorescence spectrometer, Surface area analyzer (Physisorption and CHemisorption analysers), Dynacool-PPMS, SQUID, Raman spectrometer, Thermal Evaporator, Furnaces, Glove Box, Solar Simulator etc. |
